Alpenvereinsmuseum Innsbruck
In this little museum are kept some pieces of the original collection once hosted inside the Alpenmuseum of Munich and moved after the destruction of the museum during the Second World War. The museum also includes an ancient plastic model ordered in 1500 by the Emperor Maximilian to the sculptor Wetterstein, and a painting gallery with works by Egger-Lienz, Defregger and other artists, representing mountains.
