The health resort Igls is located in 900 metres above sea level in the low mountain range and 300 metres above Innsbruck. There are many footpaths for hiking and you have also the choice of many easy or hard mountain tours. Golf, tennis, swimming, horse-riding and crazy-golf are some further sporting activities in Igls. If you like all kind of winter sports you are at the right place. Nearby you will find well prepared ski-runs, skiing schools, cross-country ski-runs, toboggan-runs, skating and curling rinks.
The tourist offers mountain-hiking programme, latern-hikes, ski-bus, cross-country bus, hiking-bus, children's programme, Lansersee, Tirolean evening and Nordic walking free of charge.

Via the Inntalautobahn:
- If you take the "Inntalautobahn A 12" you have to leave the motorway at "Innsbruck Mitte".
- Stay on the road following directions for "Igls" for about 3 km.
From Italy (Brenner).
- If you take the "Brennerautobahn A 13" (from Italy) you have to leave the motorway at Igls.
- Then follow the road signs to Igls.
