Gasthof-Hotel Weißes Kreuz Centrally located in the pedestrian area in the historic heart of Innsbruck, this traditional, family-run 3-star hotel has welcomed guests since 1465. The “Weißes Kreuz” (White Cross) combines modern conveniences with a cosy, traditional atmosphere and played an important part in Tyrolean history. In 1769, Mozart stayed here with his father.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 90 percent of the first two nights will be charged.

Children and Extra bed

All children are welcome. All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children from 6 to 11 years are charged EUR 15 per night per person for extra beds. All older children or adults are charged EUR 23 per night per person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

10 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. City/tourist tax is included.

Internet

Internet via modem is available in the business centre and costs EUR 5 per hour. Wi-fi is available in public areas and is free of charge.

Breakfast

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

Private parking is possible at a location nearby (reservation is needed) and costs EUR 11 per day.

Our cosy tastefully decorated rooms combine the tradition and charm of a 500 year old guest house with modern comfort.

Breakfast is served in our original Tyrolean Parlours, which themselves are worth a visit.

Area information

Due to its central location, the Weißes Kreuz is an ideal starting point to explore Innsbruck and its surroundings. The famous Golden Roof, the City Tower, the Imperial Palace or St. Jacob's Cathedral - they are all just a stroll away. The hotel is also close to Innsbruck's main shopping streets, many restaurants, the theatre and the casino.

Travel information

Leave the motorway at the exit Innsbruck West and follow the signs towards the city centre (Zentrum). The hotel is situated in the pedestrian area, open for public traffic from 06:00 to 10:30. Our underground car park is approx. a 4-minute walk from the hotel. Reservations are recommended. A detailed map can be sent to you upon request.
